How to
optimize your E-Photos for transfer to "woodmachines".
It is fine to transfer your files under
500kb. to us. To increase transfer speed you can reduce the size of your images.
"Woodmachines" prefers images at a maximum length of
160 pixels for publication. (maximum width 280
pixels.) Images this size are only about 30kb(in jpg
format), and transfer very quickly. The best size with allowances
for cropping and optimizing is 320(W) X 200(L) pixels, with either dimension
being the maximum.
How to transfer your E-Photos

to Woodmachines.
1. Place your Ad (s) On-line.
2. You will be provided an address to send photos after submitting your ad or
ads.
Note: Please reference your specific machine, or include an Ad
number if you have one.
Or;
We will retrieve images from an Internet page.
Please list your link address or addresses in the comment area when
posting your ad.
NOTE: Woodmachines reserves the right to modify
or reject any E-Photo.
How to Make
and send your own E-Photos (Electronic photos)
If you haven't purchased a digital camera or scanner,
and would like digital images made of your photos.
There are several ways to do it.
1. Most good
camera shops can make a digital image for you. (from a photo)
They can scan your photos to floppy disk, card or CD.
2. Some film
processors give the option of digital images when you have your
film printed.
3. Larger copy
centers usually have rental computers with scanners. Most have
good instructions and assistance. The process is fairly fast and
produces good results. Be sure to save in DOS format (As GIF or
JPG) for transfer.
4. Woodmachines will make your photo (sent by mail) into an image
useable on the internet, and place it with your ad.. (We can only return photos
with a self addressed stamped return envelope.) see transferring hard copy pictures
